Up with the internet

More people get their information from the internet than from television, the respected Pew Research Center says. Dig into the small print and newspaper seem to be holding their own as sources of information; which will be little comfort for those that are losing their jobs as the industry in the US and the UK goes through another of its paroxysms.

This is my first effort at a blog. Second, actually; I did a rather pathetic one back in 2003 but never really did much with it. Let’s see if I do more with this one. I’m not sure i have the application, energy, or single-mindedness that seems required. The nominal subject of this one will be media and information and intelligence: news, analysis, communication and so on. Subjects that have been the core of my old career in journalism and my new one in consulting.
