NYT looks at charging for (some) content

PaidContent reads a Q&A session with Bill Keller, NYT editor, and discusses proposals for revenue raising in a generally satisfying and thorough way. This debate is now moving on: I think we will see the return of charging in a few sites soon, for selective content. Telegraph seems to be moving that way too.

    They tried, they retracted, they say they are trying again. Unless there is a compelling strategic rethink, this is just a Band-Aid (TM) strategy, not drastic surgery. What do you think?
