The grumpy old person’s guide to new media

EatSleepPublish, one of my new favourite places, has an amusing if sometimes tendentious guide to arguments over the value and purpose of new media. A sample:

“Social media is a fad. Investing in it now will be a waste of time and money when it all goes bottom-up.”

“Get the name of the person saying this. Chances are you can find an email authored by him in 1995 arguing that “cyberspace” was a fad, too.”
